A Question about Airgun Benchrest National Match in Nov

Gentlemen:
I need to make a quick check among the folks planning on shooting the National tournament in November at Blackbelt Benchrest range near Demopolis, Alabama.

Demopolis is a small town of about 8000 people and has 4 or 5 motels within 3 miles of the range and plenty of places to eat and such. We have a pretty neat community and about 3 major industrial employers. One of the companies here is having a major maintenace outage and about 2/3's of the hotel rooms for the weekend of Nov 8th have been book by some of the contractors working this outage.

The following weekend, Friday Nov 14th through Sunday Nov 16th has only about 10% of the rooms booked in town. How many people are negatively affected if I move the National Tournament to Nov 15th and 16th. vice the original scheduled dates of Nov 8th and 9th?

I wish I could make it this year to the National Match. I hope in the next couple of years to be able to make one. So it doesn't affect me if you change the date.

PS Your record is safe. Dave shot a 250 7X today was hoping to tie your 10X.
 
We will be moving the Nationals around the country to make it easier for guys make it to the National Match. Hopefully next year we will be looking at holding the National match in July. Prehaps New England in 2009 and out West in 2010. Also a lot of shooters in Michigan.

I'll be looking for a range in December to host the 2009 National Match.
