I finaly found a place to shoot and practice past 200 yds in Sounthern California.
Shot a 3x600 match at Camp Pendleton [Santa Marguerita Gun Club] Sunday. Had a great time with some slingers that want more FClassers to come and join them.
Always felt out of place in So Cal being an FClass and LR BR shooter. Had to travel at least 3 hrs to go to a match. All my practice and testing was at 100 or 200 yds and then I would go to a match. Now there's a range a near by to do some practicing and testing at distance.
The best part is that they are planning to add 1K berm to the range. Maybe a 3x1000 or Palma in the near future.

Long range practice in So. Cal ?

There is a small Club about two hours north of L.A. that holds monthly long range shoots. Odd months are the Palma course of fire, and even months are a 2 x 1,000 yard COF. Matches are held the third Sunday of the month. Send me an email ( I'm pretty infrequent here ) for more info if you're interested.

You need to come back out to Vegas........ The Palma Regional are Friday through sunday, November 7, 8, and 9.
