A little primer info

A year or so ago I did a little testing of various primers. What I found was counter intuitive of what was seen as far as pressure signs seen from firing actual loads. It opened my eyes somewhat as far as "this primer has a hard cup, this one is soft", ect. Just thought I would pass this along.

Also, my hardness tester is fully computerized, to take out the humun error. This is valid data, checked several times and repeatable.

What I thought I knew didn't hold up with that chart either. I would have thought that the federal would have been the softest, and I was surprised it was one of the hardest and was also the thinnest.

I appreciate the testing and can appreciate you have the tools to do the test but what info is gained from this test? I'm really not trying to be a smartass I promise I'm just trying to see what info is there.
