My memory is not as it use to be
Will some one tell me how to remove the barrel and action from the stock

NO PETER no beding do you have a M55

I think you have to remove the triger gard some how to get to one of the screws

The rear stock screw is going from the top of the action (in the tongue area) into the rear of the trigger guard.

The last time a saw a TIKKA was 20 years ago. I think (I don't remember everything forever) the front screw of the trigger guard goes horizontally from the right side and the front screw of the action is at the front ahead of the magazine.
