A good shoot in San Angelo

It is with great pleasure that I report in the 50/50 match at the San Angelo Gun Club this morning one of our shooters shot his first 250 in competition. It was a 250-15.

Jack Kemp, who goes by BoarBok on this forum, didn't stop there, he won it all by shooting first place in all three of our matches. 248, 248, and 250. Three matches, three first places and a 250 pin.

He gives a lot of credit to a secret do-dad that goes on the top of his Tom Orlando windicator that he has been working on for a few weeks. I really believe that there is more to it. Jack did his part too.

Jack is the kind of guy that everyone who knows him likes him. He will go out of his way to help a friend or even a stranger.

We who shoot with Jack are as excited for him as if we had done it ourselves. Well maybe not quite that excited.:)

Congratulations Jack. You have done good.

Good shooting Jack. I believe that's about as good as anyone has ever shot on our range. Now get ready for next month.
Your friend,
Steve

Yep, congratulations Jack! I can't remember if I congratulated you at the range this morning or not, as I was distracted by you running around asking everybody to sign your target and our discussion of your DoDad :D Good Show!

Best,

Dan Batko

Congratulations, Jack!
Wish I was there to see it!

good shoot'n 250 is no simple thing !

You have said a mouthful, George. It takes a lot of bullets to get 25 of them in a row into the ten ring all on the same piece of paper.

This is our third year with 50/50 in San Angelo and Jack is the fourth person to shoot a 250. The first was Dawn Killough and then her husband Dan, then Kyle Combest, and now Jack Kemp.
