A first.....

MColeman

Club Coordinator
for me.

Received a thank you note from Doug McRae who usually attends our matches at Rachel's Glen thanking us for our attention to details and putting on a good match. We always bust our humps trying to make sure the shooters have a great time and it's nice to have one of the regulars take the time to acknowledge our efforts.

Not taking anything away from the other shooters who have been coming here for nearly 20 years. I never did make the effort to send a thank you note when I was competing.

Thanks for noticing, Doug. :D

Doug is a fine young man

and a very competive shooter, as you saw. Every thing ran smooth as usual. Its a good thing you had your generator handy or we would have had the first delay since I've been coming

Jerry, I've owned the generator for several months and had never used it. In fact, only 3 days before the shoot I put oil and gas in it for the first time. I needed the power to run an electric chain saw so I just put it into service. Little did I suspect how things would turn out. It just proves that the Lord looks after us in the oddest ways.

I'm surprised that's a first

You and Brady have forever offered the competitosr exactly what they want - a clean target, seven minutes to shoot it and a fair score.

As far as Divine Intervention goes, it's rather obvious when you think about it.

Hi Scott !

HELLO WILBUR. Still miss yall. Hope everything is going good up your way.

Mickey: As always thanks for your efforts to give us a place to shoot. Thanks also for the planter manual - got it yesterday. Thanks again for all you do. jim casey

Hi Scott !

You ain't speaking to me? :( I've called you several times but Judy won't ever let me talk to you.

Glad it made it to you. You're most welcome.

I didn't mean to imply that nobody ever thanked us. That is far from the case. In fact, not a shoot goes by that you, Jim, don't thank me for my efforts. Lots of others do as well. This was just the first time anybody ever mailed a thank you note after the match.

I've thought several times about giving up on the shoots but can't make myself do it so long as you guys turn out in reasonable numbers. This is the only range left in Alabama and even though it's a lot of work year round to maintain the range you guys make it worthwhile. We really enjoy seeing you have a good time and will probably keep it going so long as the Lord gives us strength.

Happy Easter to you all.

Mickey,

Sometimes, well, most of the time, we take matches and effort to put them on for granted. Especially those who build personal ranges like yourself. I never understood the cost and effort until I took on the endevour. Gives me a whole new appreciation of those like you. The wife and I are planning on coming down again this fall, we had a great time last time.

Looking forward to seeing y'all again. Lord willing it will be a pleasure for all of us.
