Hello can anyone help? I am looking to buy from a fiend a bowning Abolt vamint boss But I can Not find this gun in any blue book or anywhere else to check its value. Dose anyone have any infomation on this gun I think is was one of the first bownings made with a boss is has a heavy barrell ibut no thunbhole stock it has a dark laminated wide forarm vamint stock the box says it is Abolt varmint Boss It is simalar to the eclipes but is a different gun thanks Jerry

Gun Book Digest has a listing for it in their Modern Gun Values. I have the 10th edition year 2000. Perfect condition $695 Excellent $600 Very good $500Introduced in 1994. I bought my 22/250 about that time for about the same amount off the rack at a local store NEW. The wife could shoot it better than I can. She just shoots the numbers off the target. They're smaller than the bullseye. More of a challenge for her. Using 250 Savage brass necked down and loaded with Varget and 50 gr. Vmax bullets. RANDY
 
I have the 30th Edition of the Blue Book of Gun Values (2009). Kind of confusing as there are several A Bolt Varminter Boss's listed. The one with the black laminated wood stock (no thumbhole) runs from $715 (100%) down to $265 (60%). At 90% the list is $380. This one appears to have been made from 1994-2000. If you could be more specific maybe we could tie it down a bit better. HTH.
