Brownell's shows a Moyers adjustable trigger for A-Bolts that's supposed to be adjustable for pulls from 2-4 lb, and for overtravel and takeup too. The part number is 577-000-001AA for the long trigger, and 577-000-005AA for the short trigger. Take a look at www.brownells.com. They don't show any other A-Bolt triggers that I saw anyway.

I replaced an A-Bolt trigger with a Moyer trigger a few years ago. It took a little work to re-fit the safety, if your comfortable with that type of work it shouldn't give you any problems. BIG improvement over the factory 2 piece pot metal POS. Thinkin you have the new variant A-Bolt, not sure about the difference between triggers.

ok ill check it out...

nope...i got the a -bolt not the x-bolt, to bad i couldnt wait a year......

Be VERY careful of the sideplates on the trigger. The trigger housing is a very light cast product, easy to break while reinstalling the pins. You'll play hob trying to find a replacement housing.

The Moyer replacement is better than the skanky trigger that comes stock. Not MUCH :p but better. It's actually a high quality part, I just don't really like the entire design of the Browning trigger.

The A-bolt trigger is the worst design I have ever seen. They are absolute junk. I have had them fail on both outings I have been on where someone had one. An acquaintance in AK says that he has never seen a single A-bolt trigger survive a Kodiak trip!!

The dust from a dirt rode rendered one A-bolt trigger inoperable twice. We just hung it in a tree and hunted without that day. When we got back to the ATV I used the dipstick to lube it and got it working again. I quit again the next day! The Moyer one is far better.
