8208 XBR in 220 Beggs ?

Does anyone have any experience with this powder in the 220 Beggs ?

I'm getting ready to try some and will appreciate any info.

I tried it, lot# 4773, 29.5 grains, sloooowwww pore through a loooonnnng drop tube, and got 3570 FPS average velocity with SD of 10, no pressure signs. Please beware of loads tried in rifles other than yours. Always work up from a safe charge. I'm using a 22" 14 twist with 52 grain 7 ogive bullets from several makers, and Wolf primers. Accuracy was bad, aggs in the threes and fours, but no worse than anything else I tried. VV133 gave the lowest SD of anything I tried, I just couldn't get the thing to shoot. I think the barrel was bad from the get go, others on this forum have reported competitive accuracy from this cartridge.

I have some of the 8208 XBR and will try it.

I've had some good days with H4198 and Benchmark but not much success staying in tune and on top of the wind-----need more experience with that part of it.

My rifle shot a very good agg of 5 groups of 5 shots with Benchmark but I've been unable to repeat.
