We had a good day. A tad on the warm side for us Yankees, but still a good day! The temperature started out in the low 70’s and climbed to just shy of 90° by the end of the day. The breezes were light, yet switchy, as they usually are at Pinnacle, but basically not all that bad.

Dave,
I had a good time yesterday at Pinnacle. I wish we had conditions like that all the time! I think if I'd had one more chance with the big gun....Do you think the conditions will be that nice two weeks in a row???

Fred,
I guess what I thought was a problem really wasn't:) I actually never found the time to tinker with the AG before the match. I don't have any way to fill it with air(long story, parts lost in the mail...), so I couldn't even shoot it before the match. Dave was kind enough to let me fill it from his tank so I could shoot Unlimited instead of Match class yesterday. I might be selling my Walther Match gun soon;)
Todd

Todd,

As for the conditions repeating this coming Saturday ....two words: FAT CHANCE!!!!! :( :( :(

Dave

Aw come on Dave, Ya got’a think positive. I think Todd should bring a bottle of Champagne to celebrate his first PM 250! It’s going to happen this Saturday. Maybe we should charge an additional admission, it will be well worth it to say…“I was there”! :D

Al

"250 - GO Todd!" It's gotta happen sooner or later, make it this weekend!

Best,
Michael

Yep...I can picture the scene now. Last match at Pinnacle, and a few "better luck next year, Todd" comments. Only Al and Penny have figured out how to shoot 250's regularly at that graveyard for good scores Dave calls a range;)

Ken,
All I'm hoping for is to finish better than my best TMM place so far...10th!
Todd

Todd,

If it were too easy, what fun would it be? And, besides, you should always have something to look forward to on your ride out, mutter about on your way home, and stay up all night about throughout the course of the long winter months?

A wise old shooter once told me that "the wind is your friend!"   Now, I have never been able to figure out exactly what he meant by that as I have never seen any type of "FRIENDLY" breezes blowin' @ Pinnacle Mountain!

See you on Saturday,

Dave
