7-17-10 S. Ga. Results

We had 9 shooters today. There a little "breeze" blowing, and it never got too awful hot. I believe that there were more 250s shot today than ever before in any one day. Third place in the 13.5 lb., and the Unlimited-3 was taken with a 250. I'm not sure anyone has ever finished in 3rd place with a 250, on this range. We enjoyed some great comraderie and close competition. Emery Smith started it off with a blisterin' Sporter target. The closest competition was between Mark Stillwell and Hoke Kerns, with both of them shooting a 250-13X FM-1. When the dust settled, Mark got the win. Hoke was pretty rough on us all day. Congrat's to all of you for some good shootin'. S. Ga. Boy

Well done Mr. Kerns!! They should not have let you out of Alabama!

Great Shooting Hoke...good to see your back to normal!!

Sorry I couldn't come...I had to attend a young Marines funeral...he was killed in Afghanistan.....please pray for the family of Gabe Raney. It sure is tough seeing the families suffer such a great lose. Life will never be the same for them. I hope everyone of you realizes what a sacrifice these young men and women and their families are giving up for the liberty we possess.
