I have VihtaVuori N135, N140, N150 and N165.

I have Lapua Scenar 105L, Berger 105gr and Berger 108gr

6XC Norma cases

CCI BR2 primers

now I need some loads... I've googled and found 6xc and other powders..

still no results with VihtaVuori powders..

the barrel is 28" 7.5 twist Krieger.

anyone got min-max loads with these powders and a working load (accurate)?

some quickload info would be nice to :)

any powder, any bullet... just so I can start reloading....

Try 6mmBR.com. They list 6xc on their site. V/R Greg

already tried that with no results...

anyone shooting 6XC with these bullets ?

Even if you use different powder I can use the burn chart to find VV powder that is similar...

just need min-max loads with these bullets.

dansig,

Accurate Powders has data for the Berger and Sierra bullets using their powders.

I did try the VV N-150 briefly in the 6XC but even with a full case it was just a tad slower than I wanted.

David Tubb is listing the coated 107 Sierra Mk with VV N-150 at 35 gr. on his website.

Regards.

Hodgdon has load information for a 6mm-250 cartridge, which has slightly less capacity than a 6XC Though load data for this cartridge is only with Hodgdon powders and , it should be possible to use this as a starting point for developing loads with the components you described. Website for the data center is http://data.hodgdon.com/cartridge_load.asp . I note you do not list N160, whch would be a powder more suited for this cartridge. (This powder is in a similar class as H4350.)

Norma has load info for the 6XC, using Norma powders. They list loads for the Berger 105 grain bullet. Website is http://www.norma.cc/en/Ammunition-Academy/Loading-Data/Norma-6XC/ NOTE: Norma loads 6XC ammunition, using 204 powder (or a derivative thereof), and moly coated Berger bullets.

David Tubb lists 6XC loads at http://www.davidtubb.com/davidtubb/content/graphics/pdfs/6XC_die_instructions_2012.pdf . NOTE: Bullets are Sierra 107s, and are boron nitride coated. Brass type is unknown, could be reformed Remington 22-250 casings, or could be Norma.

Hope this helps.

Asa
