Hi I have used moly coating on bullets when competing about 15 years ago and was impressed that I could shoot an entire Match without cleaning , and no accuracy deterioration. I also believe it reduced barrel wear ( although this is harder to prove ) I have seen a couple new coatings available and would appreciate comments

Tungsten Disulfide ? we used tungsten as a hard edge coating on top of hard working and drawing applications in Tool & Die work , and have seen a high Rockwell C hardness number in the recent specs that worries me a bit with regard to barrel wear, especially on soft steel original antique barrels?
,
BORON NITRIDE POWDER ? that David Tubb promotes

Thanks

Phil

Phil,

here is a nice little guide to bullet coating that you may not have seen.

http://www.accurateshooter.com/technical-articles/guide-to-bullet-coating/

i have no experience with moly or danzac, but know some BR guys that do. i've only played with hbn a little this year. so far i like it. it doesn't build up like moly and is much easier to get out of the barrel from what i've read.

i think all three are pretty similar in what they do, reduce copper fouling.
