For a score match, what should I come up off my 6ppc 100 yd point of aim to get a good starting point for a 200 yd point of aim? I won't be able to get to a 200 yd range before the match.

I come up 5 clicks on my 36 BR D.
It would help if you supplied the type of scope you use or if it has 1\4 or 1\8th adjustments.

I currently have a Sightron on the rifle with 1/8" clicks, which I believe is the same as your scope.

10 clicks will put you in the ballpark with 1/8th clicks. You coming to the Rock next Sat? Steve

Hey Steve, he ain't skippin' a 30BR off the ground in front of the frame, he's shootin a 6PPC..............6 or 7 will do it......

One MOA

From a 100 yard zero 1 MOA should put you in good shape. Depends on the height of the scope versus the bore line - or something fishy like that. A single click difference won't be enough to give you significant pause come target time.

Shoot a sighter, re-aim at the original point and crank the crosshair to the bullet hole....voila!

Wilbur is right, do one minute and you'll be close. Just remember to do it, or the far flag won't be happy! :)

Thanks all for your help. God willing and the creek don't rise I'll be at the "Rock" on the 12th.

Built in 1/8" clicks ...

Gentlemen: Built in 1/8" clicks at 100 yards become 1/4" movements at 200 yards. 1/16" at 50 and 1/2" at 300.
