I'm interested in building a 6mm bench rifle. I would like to know your insights on which groove is better--a 4 or a 6? I will be using the gun for 600 and 1,000 yard competition.
Nightsniper, To me the number of grooves has no bearing on accuracy or barrel life. I tell guys the more uniform the bore and groove sizes, the more uniform the twist and the straighter the blank the more forgiving the barrel is going to be.
