6mm br???????

Ok so my question is, I have a 6mm br 1:10 twist (its an encore). When I ordered the barrel the rep who placed the order told me that it was chambered 6mm bench rest remington. Tilll this point i have been using old remington brass. I bought a few old factory boxes off a friend and have realoded them. they are starting to get worn now and I need a bigger lot seeing as im starting comp the first of next year. SO my question is can i use lapua or norma brass? I have tried to get a strait answer but just browsing, but, i've read that the brass (that is norma and lapua) is longer, wider and everything else in between. I have also read that the neck is only longer for VLD bullets and all that needs to be done is trim them. So long story little question(I hope).

according to an old data book and what i found on 6mm br the only diffference would be the col the case is the same so i would think that the diff would be the throat on the reamer is this true?
