The rifle is a Rem 700LA with Hart SS bull barrel, 1/8 twist.
I've been fooling around with bullet weights from 80 to 107gr
and assorted powders. But I am not gaining. I think the 105 and 107's just promote copper fouling and aren't needed for shorter range. I need to stop changing powders and bulelts and concentrate on fine tuning just one combination. I only neck size, have a tight neck chamber, and can load to lands with most bullets.
Can you recommend one bullet and load that I should settle on that can be used 100 to 300 yards.
