6brdx load info

Hello! I acquired a bench rifle in 6brdx last year and am hoping to use it in some upcoming informal benchrest shoots which ranges from 100-500 yards. I plan on using Berger 108's and applicable powder on hand is Varget, CFE-223 and Reloader 15. Unfortunately I have no chronograph so I have to rely on manuals which never deal with wildcats. So if anyone has experience with this cartridge and is willing to share your recipes, I would be grateful. If a particular recipe is "hot" please make that clear! I will start low with any load and work up as I prefer not to shoot anything too hot to preserve barrel and case life. Even data for similar 6br improved cases and similar bullet weights would be helpful for comparison. And for what it's worth... I am a very careful reloader and will use any info with caution. I just need some references to get started.

Or, if it is as simple as just adding "X" amount of grains to the standard 6br max from the manuals... just let me know what "X" is.

Many thanks!

John

I don't think anybody can give you the best load. What I CAN recommend is that you take your loading equipment to the range and work up the best load you can for your rifle. Sure, you can find out the typical powders for your rifle but you can't find the best load....with the exception of pure luck.
