Is anyone interested in a 600 yd shoot in West Texas? We could shoot targets or Clay birds or a combination of the two.

Joe, I saw you at the Tac Pro shoot in the fall. I can't shoot at the spring shoot since I just had by-pass surgery in Feb. I hope to get released to shoot by June. If I am released I would like to have a shoot in August. I put in a 600yd and 1000yd range on my ranch which is located 30 miles north of San Angelo. If you and your brother would like to come up and shoot before then give me a call. I am listed in the Robert Lee phone book. I am working with a group of local shooters getting a covered shooting area with benches much like yours put in this spring. We are having a fun shoot at 300yd for .22 cal. [.223, 22/250,etc] on 4/25/09. We shoot 3 sizes of clay birds just like at your shoot. I hope to come and watch the Tac Pro shoot and may see you there. Tad Emert

Bypass surgery

Hi Tad, I recognized who you were and remembered you had built a range. I just had slept since then and forgot exactly where you were located. :)

Glad to hear you are doing well after the surgery. We are planning on being at LSSO in April.

Email me at jeduke43 at sbcglobal dot net.

Utopia shoot

Hi Tim, Thanks for the compliment.
The shoot will be June 27. We will be emailing soon. I believe Sam has your email.
You shooting LSSO on the 18th? If so, see you there.
Joe

I'll be there, no sure of what to shoot yet??? Most people don't have that problem, however I'm in between the 6x47 Lapua and the 6br. LSSO can have some nasty winds and the 6br will get bucked around alittle more, but the accuracy of this rig is totally unreal. I've got my best at 300yds in the .3s. When Mark King builds rifles, he means it. I ran out of time to have it rebarreld for the 6x47 Lapua in a Broughton barrel. So the Savage I put together that I got 4th with at Utopia is probably coming with me.

See ya there.
Tim

I got my email and you got my money's...ha ha..

Good seeing ya at Tac Pro and see ya soon at Little Creek..
