I can tell you that winning score at this match was no small feat! Gusting, switching winds up to 25mph. There were several range flags lining both sides of the range, and many people had wind flags, I never could get a reading off of any of them. I saw several times where the flags on one side of the range were standing staight out to the west and the flags on the other side of the range were standing straight out to the east. My daisy wheels looked like airplanes fixing to take off. I even had one of my wind flags with daisy wheels picked straight up off the pole and blown down wind. I still have not figured out how that happened.
Anyway, it was a pleasure meeting Hobie. For those of you have not met Hobie, I can tell you he is as a nice of a guy in person as he has been talking to him on the phone at Kelblys over the years. It was nice seeing him do well! Congradulations Hobie! Great showing at your first 600 Yard Nationals!
