I went to the range this morning and did some plinking at 600 yards. I finished up with a 10 shot group in 15 minutes. I should have shot 20 in 30 minutes but had to run some errands. Oh well, still had a good time and sometimes spur of the moment things are the best. I have a little vertical distribution in the group. The trigger is set as low as it will go (1.5 pounds) but I think with a lighter trigger my groups would improve. I scored the group as 99-5X. This is a standard 600 yard F Class target.
I was shooting a 6.5 Creed with 140 grain Berger's on a Remington action and a Krieger barrel. I have less than 50 rounds down the tube. Still learning as I go but having a great time.
Life is good!
