Are you guys that have been shooting the 6.5x47 for a while come to any conclusions that the 140 grain bullets are just a little too much for this case and that 120-130 bullets are optimally performing the best in this case? Or are you getting just as good results with 140's as you are the 120-130 grain bullets? When I am talking optimum performance it is in relation to the accuracy of the 140 grain bullets in comparison to the 120-130's at all distances out to 1000.

I use RL17 and my reamer has .123" FB. I've had good results with both Berger 130VLDs & 140 LRBTs out of Krieger & Bartlein 1:8tw. bbls., running the 130s 2930fps, and 140s 2840. I know others have posted considerably higher velocities, but these are the limits in my bbls. - a 30" Bartlein on a BAT 3L and a 28" Krieger on a Pierce TG. Have yet to shoot either rig at 1000, but have shot several XC & any/any prone HP matches with the Eliseo RTS tubegun, and it's been a hammer at 600 with both these bullets.

I have had excellent success with the 142's Sierra's and 130 Bergers...130 have to be weighed because of multiple weights. 1/4 MOA @ 100's
