Where can I get a broken shell extractor for my 6.5x284? If looked at Brownells and Midway. All help appreciated.
 
Thought of it, but what did work was soaking it with Krolls overnight and using a 300 broken shell extractor. I'm not sure it will work on anything ever again but it got it out. I would not argue if someone said it was dumb luck!!
 
Most likely excessive headspace is what caused the problem. Used to have that problem shooting 7/223. You need to load a bullet to touch the lands and force the case into chamber and fire it and that should prevent any more problems.
