6.5x284 on a Short Action to Long - Help Please

Hi. I am a Remmie man and rebarreled a short action of mine in the 6.5x284. Unfortunately, I did not consider length of that caliber and have to shoot it as a single shot huntign rifle.

I have a long action off an olf 30-06. In terms of functioning, I want to switch the barrel onto the long action so I can have more than a ingle shot? Is the 30-06 bolt face able to work with the 6.5x284- they look pretty close.

I've built 2 of them on that action. One started life as a 270, the other as an 06.

They feed fine through the regular magazine.

You will need to headspace the barrel to the new action, since they are not likely the same dimension.
