I made a drawing of both cases, the 6.5 TKS and the 6.5 Creedmoor in AutoCAD. Then, I overlaid both drawings and it looks like the TKS fits perfectly inside the Creedmoor.
If I run the Creedmoor reamer through the TKS chamber it looks like it will re-chamber OK. any thoughts on this all of you experts out there?

I thought I would get some of the seasoned shooters and gunsmiths to comment..... no Ideas if this would work from anyone?

I really dont think youll get an answer besides give it a try. One of those things where it could and may not and some folks can and some cant. Some would set it back a tenon length and some move the shoulder .050 to get it. Its just that hard to say with tapered cases. Ive seen it go when i didnt think it would and have a ring when it shouldnt. Sorry we've had you on edge.

It Works

Dusty, happy to report that it worked and by God it worked great...:D I hand reamed this barrel just a bit at the time until I got the bolt to close on the go gage.
Took this baby to the range and I can cover 4 of th5 shots with a dime..... one stray was about .750" away from the group but that could have been me.
This was all done with DT Hunter factory ammo. I yet have to try reloads.

All I had to lose was about an inch of barrel.... it was not the case!!

Thats good news. Never hurts to give something a try if it turns out to be safe all you got to lose is parts and time
