6-284 load help and maybe RL-17?

Guys,

I have about 5 lbs of Reloder-17 laying around and i was wondering about using it in my 6-284. I emailed alliant but they basically said they couldn't help.

I am planning on shooting 87gr Vmax's and 105gr Amax's out of my 30.5" barrel using lapua brass.

Does anyone have any load data or at least a starting point for the 6-284 using RL-17?

I am also open to any other load data that you can provide for this round. What has worked for you?
 
I ran loads on Quickload using the bullets you listed and RL-17. It looks like RL-17 is a little on the fast side for the 105 Amaxes but this is what the data showed . 48.3 grs of RL-17 under the 87 gr. Vmax=3324 fps.. 45.5 grs RL-17 under the 105 gr. Amax= 3272 fps. I used 66.23 grs of water weight as the case volume.

I use RE22 in mine with Sierra 107's but it has a 8 twist barrel.It has two spots were it shoots well,one at 3200 fps and the other just over 3400 fps with a 30 inch barrel.
If you call Sierra bullets tech line they will give you the load that set the NBRSA 12 target agg record for about 5 years.
