Yesterday at the range testing ammo.....Gradually the bolt became harder and harder to open after a fired shot to the point that I bruised my hand bumping it....Only with a fired case in the chamber....Finally had to give it up....Anyone experience this before or have an idea what the problem might be and how to fix it???

Dirty Bolt

Clean the gun. Soak the bolt in Lighter fluid or any other solvent. If you can take it apart, thats even better. When you get it all clean, do not put any oil on the FP. If you are worried about rust, spray the FP with a dry release agent before you reassemble. I do recommend that you lub the cocking ramps with Tetra Grease also make sure the bolt raceway is clean, and the screws for the scope blocks are not protruding into the bolt raceway.
Also double check that the bolt handle cocking ramps are not galled. If so, you may need to replace it. Out Back, has FP's and Bolt Handles.
