50m Range

Hi im seting up a 50m range for practise does anyone know where the 50m is messured from is it from the front of the bench is there an official rule
 
I believe the rule is from the front edge of the bench to the face of the target frame..

thanks dave do you know if there in any official rule i reckon that if i messure it from the front of the bench at worst my range will be longer than required

ARA Rule #4. states that "The distance from the forward edge of the bench to the target shall be a minimum of 50 yards"..

You can check the rules of RBA and IR-50/50 on their websites..
