We had 3 shooters today at Salem. Those of you that had hoped to be here but couldn't make it would probably be happy you didn't make the drive if you had to shoot the conditions we had today. We had decent conditions for the first target, after that it got progressively worse. By the time we were done with 6 targets, the wind was switching so fast with no letup in between that you were lucky if you could get one shot off before the flags went haywire again. Rick shot his EV-2 and I shot my CZ200S on the first set of targets(12fpe) while Fred scored for us. For the second set of targets, Fred shot my CZ, I shot Ricks FX Royale ST, and Rick shot his LW .20 Rapid.
The results:
12FPE
Todd Banks; 244-11X, 236-4X, 243-3X=723-18X
Rick Ingraham; 240-3X, 230-3X, 241-5X=711-11X
Fred Blanck; 232-2X, 218-4X, 228-5X=678-11X(not so bad for shooting an unfamiliar rifle in nasty conditions!!)
20FPE
Rick Ingraham; 242-8X, 240-5X, 244-5X=726-18X(awesome score for the conditions!!)
Todd Banks; 221-3X, 227-2X, 233-3X=681-8X
We'll try to get 3 targets shot before 5pm Wed. if I can get out of work early enough.
