checked out serial #does not make sense to me can anyone help ? letters are W O L B ser# on receiver 23337b also labled US 22 long rifle which i assume is a cmp gun any info would be helpful thank you SCOTT KASJAKA

Try going to www.team40x.com and look around there. Think you could even contact them with specific information.
As for your stamps on barrel i dont have anything like that and mine is from the CMP, but has been reworked by Jim Williams. Do the letters look like they were CNC engraved or stamped with a hammer? Pictures of these things would do a world of help in seeing what you are seeing.

When I researched this 5 years ago for Team40X I learned that rifles coming out of the Custom Shop did not always follow the date codes.
What I was told is that the date code was when the barrel was made and not necessarily when the rifle was made.
Think of a bin with 100 barrels and it gets replenished before the ones on the bottom are used.
