40x Stock Fitment

Will a 700 sa fit a 40x CMP stock? I was not sure if the rimfire action had a different foorprint compared to the centerfire action.
 
The lighter barreled CMP 40X 22 has a barrel contour almost identical to the 700 BDL varmint.
