40x "Standard Barrel" Contour Question

Hi all.

I have a 40xb that I would like to rebarrel to a barrel of "standard" contour.

Would any of you have the dimensions of the exterior of the barrel, so that I can have one made?

Check with Jack Sutton at hart rifle barrels.
I'm sure he has the proper information.
I can tell you this the benchrest is 26" on the heavy and 20" on the LV rifle
The rangemater is about 27" to 28" long.
Tapers are different also.

Standard 40X Barrels

We have several take offs with their original Lugs,this will enable you to index it correctly to your receiver. There are lot availible to be had benchrest builders such as Gene Davis,Roger Brock and Richard Gorham should have some also .This should be an easy fix !
