We have once again been granted permission to use the Pinnacle Mountain range in Lyndeborough, NH to hold 4 Airgun Benchrest Matches between now and the middle of April. Over this past year the Club has totally revamped the Shooting Shack making it more like a full-blown building rather than just a temporary enclosure, so when the wind gets to blowing when it's ±0° outside it should be nice and toasty inside and not quite as cold as in days gone by.
The dates are all scheduled for the 3rd Saturday of the month, and are:
Sat. Jan 21
Sat. Feb 18
Sat. Mar 17
Sat. Apr 21
The Club's gates will open by 9:00 A.M.
All matches will start as close to 10:00 A.M. as is humanly possible
The decision has not yet been made as to which target, discipline (if any) or format, will be followed, but will be announced prior to the match within each match announcement posted on this forum.
All targets will be shot at either 25Y/M or 35Y (depending on range conditions) and using a 20 or 30 minute clock (depending on discipline being followed).
There will only be light snacks available while at the range, so as always you had better bring along anything you would like to eat. Cold drinks will be available for a small donation from the clubhouse refrigerator.
As each of these dates draw near there will be a reminder posted here on this forum. At that time any last minute changes that may have come up unexpectedly will also be posted. In the past we have occasionally had to cancel shoots due to the sudden onset of one of your not so typical New England dustings of snow (ie: blizzard), personal health issues, and then in the spring the range often times will become unaccessible due to flooding when all that winter snow suddenly decides to melt, especially if accompanied by a few days of heavy spring showers.
