Time is running out! After this Saturday, April 9th, there will only be 2 more dates when you will be able to attempt Qualification at Pinnacle Mountain for the Airgun portion of the World Championships taking place this summer down in Charleston, S.C. Please keep in mind, if you are contemplating waiting until the last minute, either of those 2 dates could be canceled due to any number of unforeseen reasons, especially where the Club is prone to flooding throughout the Spring, plus we have already had to cancel 2 of our previously scheduled dates due to circumstances beyond our control. So don’t miss out.

Pinnacle Mountain Fish & Game Club of Lyndeborough, NH will host the sixth in its series of eight 3-Target Airgun Qualifying rounds this Saturday, April 9th starting at 10:00 A.M. The Clubs gates will open by 9:00.

Prior to the match all guns will be shot across a chronograph to verify they fall within the proper energy limits of the Classes being tried for.

Please bring your own lunch or light snack as there will be no food available at the range, but as always soft drinks and water are available for a small donation from the Clubhouse refrigerator.

If you have any questions or need directions please feel free to contact me by emailing: dashattuck@gmail.com, or calling: 978-877-8482 and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

See you on Saturday.

Bill,

Thank you. That means a lot to me. But, as you know, when you truly love something you'll do anything you can to make sure it doesn't go away!

I don't know if things are looking up, or just getting worse. Where earlier in the week the weather report was for it being cool with rain on Saturday, it's now been changed over to what most would call a wonderful day with temps in the mid to upper 50's, bright sun and little to no chance for rain. That's all well and good if you want to do yard work around the house, but unless I'm seriously mistaken, up here in the Northeast come April this kind of forecast is almost always accompanied by saying the breezes will be in the low to mid 20's, if not higher. We'll see.

David,
It looks like I will have a 12 fpe and 20 fpe. If we have enough people to run two lines I would like to shoot both. If not I will only shoot the 12.

Paul

Paul,

No doubt about it, even if there are only 4 of us and we're shooting outside, we will still have 2 Relays. And, if you wouldn't mind, and if Dan isn't already planning on sharing your 12 ft/lb gun with you, I'd like to take a turn with it on the off-relay in order to also qualify for the LV Class.

Suppose to be in the low to mid 60's now. I don't know how I'm going to handle all that summer heat? Guess I better put new batteries in my fan. Ah, but with Spring warmth often comes the Winds of Spring as well!

See you on Saturday.

Dave

David,
No problem with using the 12 fpe. Didn't get to the range today as I got the parts from David Slade today.

I will take the wind over Black Flies.

Paul

Thanks Paul, and you got that right about taking the wind over the flies. Although, I'd like one more shot at it with great conditions before we run out of time for vanity sake.
