What velocities could I expect to get from an XP100 with a 15" barrel, chambered in 30BR, 15 twist barrel, using 125 gr. bullets??

rifle, we are seeing 2950-3050 fps w/ 112 and 118 grn bullets. The shorter barrel and slightly heavier bullet will account for some fall off. But I would stress, you really need to pay attention to the accuracy and THEN worry about speed. If it is a bughole at 2800 and not at 2900, pretty clear choice.

What length barrel are you using for those velocities?
I was hoping for maybe 2300 fps in the 15" barrel? Is that realistic?

With a fast-burning powder line H4198 I wouldn't be surprised to see 2,500 fps from 15" barrel. 21.5" will easily push 3,050 fps.
