300 rebuild

I have 300 ultra mag. cdl. i am rebuilding i have purchased a hart 1000 br taper barrel and mc millan remington varmint stock i beleive i have found a builder but would appreciate any help with procedures to have performed such as machining and bedding.

You might consider having Hart fit their barrel to the action. It would save some steps of shipping and handling. Are you planning to fit the barrel to the stock (factory contour barrel) or the stock to the barrel (re-inletting the stock) or ???

Have Hart install the barrel and Mc Millan bed the barrel action in their stock.

Mcmillan building stock based on action and barrel contour should drop in with maybe a little inletting
