.300 Ackley is normally 40° shoulder
.308 Baer is 35°

What is the advantage of the 308Baer over 300wm or 300wsm?

I don't know if there are any advantages/disadvantages to any of the cartridges listed but the 308 Baer holds more powder than the other two.
I have a 308 Baer and several 300 Ackley's and even the best loads are the same.
Like Baron said 5 degrees on the shoulder is about it.
