I just picked up a Redding Die marked 30-20 TC FL CA, which I assume means 30-20 Thompson Center Full Length resizer. WHY I bought it is a long story, don't ask. I have no idea what the CA means. It appears to be a relatively small, thin, (a FL resized 222 Rem is a bit too fat to fit inside) case with a 308 neck. At least, the expander ball measures .306, more or less normal for a 30 cal. cartridge. Any one out there ever heard of it ? What is it ? Just curious.

Think 32-20 Winchester Center Fire (WCF) except using a 30 cal (308) bullet instead of 32 cal (313) bullet.

Made for Thompson Center Contender barrels chambered in 30-20.

They were used in Hunter/Field Pistol class handgun silhouette for IHMSA and NRA competitions.

Thanks for the info. I don't have a 32 or 25-20 case but I just tried a 218 Bee and it just slipped in, which it should.

I shoot this cartridge in several guns in IHMSA silhouette competition. It is really close to the 300 Whisper in performance
