Andy congratulations on being Britains number 1 in unlimited. A big effort considering you were in hospital a few days before hand.

Marcus well done on winning the 3 target unlimited, i bet you were smiling the whole time...What ammo were you using?

thanks for the thoughts i was willing to drag myself if the hospital would not let me go!!

Marcus put in a stunning to 249 on his last card, if he didn't it would of been a tight score between us all but the better man won.

Mostly Anschutz Keith, Martin Menke from Germany had a Kelbly Swindlehurst with a Shlien barrel in a very light carbon fibre stock, used it in the LV class.

Ammo varied from Eley Tennex for the UK team, the Germans seemed to be using mostly R50, not sure about the Irish.

Rests varied from Cicognani (Italian upgraded Bald Eagles), Fairly Coaxials and my own Ken Fulgham rest.

Scores were down, a switchy wind gusting to 22/24mph saw to that, but a great competiton. Looks like a return match is on the cards for later this year in Germany. Now if I can get Bill Myers Shilen barrel dialed in by then we will see what we can do about those top three places :)

Congratulations to the German team, I tipped you guys to win.

Looks like the Irish are the big improvers, keep this up and they’ll be up with the Italy and the Czech Republic in unlimited. That is if we still have an unlimited class.

Will there be an article in the Target Shooter magazine about this match??

Yes there will be something in the magazine, the brits did do ok and i think came second overall but it was agreat fun match.
