I find it strange also that Steve won't post is scores after sending them half way across the US to have my granddaughters and myself score them for him so someone wouldn't say he cheated. If I had shot a 247-6x, a 247-12x and a 249-9x for an agg of 743-27x I would want the whole world to know.

is just keeping a humble, cool, low profile...not the bragging type?

Great shooting, I know I couldn't contain myself in his shoes but then again, I'm the newbie and he probably isn't!

Steve and I talked at length about this yesterday, and I respect his decision. The Worlds are the important factor here. Either way awesome shooting Steve.

For what it's worth.
I respect Steve for not wanting to post his scores. After His targets were scored and I e-mailed them to him he called me and jokingly told me that I had surely made a mistake and that being in his position he felt that some shooters might think that he was padding his score. He actually mailed the targets from Florida to Arkansas to get them scored. My scoring team didn't know Steve from Adam so they didn't cut him any slack.
I think Steve is quite the Gentleman although I've only talked to him on the phone. Also I may have lost a friend for ever for posting his scores and I'm very sorry for that but "It was still some great shooting.

I can only repeat what I have said before. Your experience is invaluable and I will always be grateful for your advice. While we have never met in person, I have been incredibly lucky to be in a position to call you my friend.

When I shot those targets, there was only one person I could trust to score them and that was you and, of course, your granddaughters.

USA Air Rifle Benchrest is a new organization, the qualifying for the World Championships is underway and this was a .22 caliber barrel. We do not need any distractions at this juncture.
