284 Shehane ?

Can some of you fine Gunsmith's help me out. My ? is what free bore length do I need for the 284 Shehane with the 180gr Berger Hybird's? And does anyone have a good reamer print or know of a good reamer for this round using the New blue box laupa 6.5-284 brass? And for the last ? who would be my best bet for a set of custom dies for the 284 Shehane. I would very much so like to get into F-Class shooting next year I think this round would be my best bet. I have a 6mm Dasher 7 twist brux 30'' long tube chamber for the 115 gr D-Tac and a 6XC 7 twist brux 30'' chamber for the 115gr D-Tac that I might try as well.

Sounds like your all set with the dasher. The 6 dasher is dam hard to beat day in and day out at 600 yards. There does seem to be a push towards the 7mm stuff in f-class and i assume for good reason. Bill shehane himself is a very helpful fella, and i am more than sure he could answer all your questions regarding the 284 shehane or otherwise. Good luck man! Lee
