Also the other gun of the week for week 88 in the new world records where Ballard broke Tierney record, and possible other's with a 284. Check you loading manual and you will see that the case capacity of the 284 and the 280 are almost the same. This should provide some assistance in where to start. I am just starting to play with my 280 improved 9 twist with the 180 grain Bergers. I am looking for this new Reloader 17 that appears to be a great poweder for the long range stuff. There is a lot of info on this on 6mmbr. there are some great articles about heavy bullets and one on how to tune your gun with the heavy berger bullets written by berger bullets. I will be using these guys comments on the 284 as a base to start with my 280 improved for load development.
