Heres what I have:
Defiance machine Deviant action with seekins cut bottom
Defiance machine bottom metal for detachable accuracy international mag
Manners T2A stock
Jewell trigger
Brux 28 inch heavy varmint 1:8 twist
American Rifle Company one piece scope ring mount
Muscle break muzzle break
Lapua brass
Redding competion dies

Plan is to run 140 gr berger vld target bullets...

Question/s are: im thinking about ordering a reamer to have it on hand for rebarreling... so if I end up needing to order a reamer thats no biggy...260 Rem or 260 AI??? I dont need the extra velocity, 75-100 fps extra velocity means nothing to me... I am looking for precision/accuracy only. On the other hand if I do a regular 260 rem... what about a slightly longer throat to seat the bullet a little longer?Would a slightly longer throat help these berger 140 vlds perform a tad more?

Gimme your suggestions here please. All input and or experiances is appreciated!

I have most everything already to build it, I just havent ordered the accuracy international mag yet... from what I read for this mag the specs say 2.88 is max OAL....

If I go 260 with a deeper throat yall think I can load these 140 bergers slightly longer??

Or should I use a different bullet all together.... I want to stay around that 140 gr area though.... 139 scenars were said to shoot good but ive never shot those bullets in anything before...

Also the alpha type 2 DBM was reccommended to me which looks like a good choice to do after I looked and read about it.

I think you may find various opinions and advice on Snipers Hide. The .260 is popular there, esp. in a mag-fed configuration.
