David Kenimer cleaned house at Gold City this evening shooting a 749-65X agg. His second target was this awesome 250-24X which will beat MY Georgia state record of 250-23X (had to throw that in there).

I know that Ken Camper just shot a 250-24 last week and I'm not sure if they use "First Miss" on World record targets or not but David's FM was 14.

Congratulations David for shootong a new Georgia State RBA Unlimited Target and possible RBA Unlimited World Record Target. Simply Awesome!

Imagine if you will a fellow deciding that rimfires would be a good way to develop his skills at bbl threading, chambering, crowning, stock bedding, etc. In other words, building rifles. This guy has be shooting CF BR for a few months and decides that building himself a RF BR rifle would be a good learning tool. He discovers that a local RF range has just opened up and they are going to host BR matches. Perfect !

He gets his first rifle done and heads up to the local yokel club BR match. There he shoots against:

Doug Kenimer
David Kenimer
Jody Reed
Harry Deneen [ or was that Phil Deese, or both !!?? ]
Brian Harvey
Bob Collins [ or was that some other match ??]

Gold City is a heck of a 'local yokel' club !!!!!!!!!!!!

I think we're gonna have to rename that place Honey Hole Rimfire Range.

Great shooting. Congratulations again on your Georgia yards win.......you've had two great weekends............sounds like that barrel just keeps on getting better and better..........Doug hasn't tried to talk you out of that barrel yet has he???:D:D

Jeff: #3 was plugged and scored before the picture was taken but I didn't mark the X until after. I should have taken another picture but it is definately a clean 250-24. I dont think we will be able to make Phils match but should be at the NC state for sure.

Thanks everyone. Man I have to say I'm amazed as much as anyone. That was as close as it gets to 25x. Oh well maybe next time . David K
