Can someone give me the procedures to make 22PPC short cases...Starting with new Lapua 220 brass is my preference.........many thanks in advance Ken............I need all the help I can get..

My method.

1. Get a forming die from JLC (Jim Carstensen)
2. Shorten the .220 case by .100 (I use a Wilson trimmer with a drill attached)
3. Run the shortened case into the JLC die and ream with the reamer provied by Jim.
4. Neck turn to desired thickness.
5. Fireform and enjoy.

Good shooting... James Mock

PS I use a FL sizer made from Newlon die by Jerry Simison and a Wilson seater that is shortened by .100.

Kenbo, I have to tread lightly here to keep from crossing the 'advertising' line, but I think I would be doing you a disservice if I did not ask,

"Have you considered the 220 Beggs cartridge over the 22-100?"

It requires no case forming whatsoever, powder capacity is virtually identical to that of the 22-100, and I'll put it up against anything for accuracy. Oh yes, and it uses the fabulous Lapua 220 Russian case as it comes from the box.
