22M Rimfire single shot?

My cousin wants 22 rimfire Magnum single shot. No magazine!
I am not that familar with the rim fires, I have a few but, I don't have the interest as I do with centerfires.
Please can you direct me to what a good single shot in 22 Mag would be?

I just thought of this. Does Thopson Center make a 22 Mag. barrel?

Yes, TC does make barrels with a .22 mag. chamber. You might try their custom shop. I am sure that most all of the makers of custom TC barrels also chamber for .22 mag.

What action type are you looking at - bolt, break action, falling block?

What price range are you looking at?

One could probably $$$ an el cheepo H & R break-open single shot in
22 LR, then $$$ a nominal fee to have a gunsmith kiss it w/ a .22 mag reamer.

Probably the least expensive way to go. The trigger can be cleaned up.

used a Colt single shot bolt action rifle back in the early 1960's to shoot jack rabbits in southern Kansas. It was the 'Colteer' model. Not sure who actually manufactured it. But by doing some searching I suspect one could find a used single shot bolt action .22M in more than one brand. Max
