Gene, I have a 220 Beggs, 246" neck. I am using Benchmark/133 and 52 Barts.

Have you found a favoured seating depth for the 220 Beggs or have you experienced totally different seating depths for different barrels. The reamer is a PTG and I am using your dies. Loaded rounds measure .2442 -2443. The Hornady FL die work beautifully with this chamber. I know each rifle/barrel will show individual characteristics however I thought you may have found a seating depth that keeps showing potential in all barrels????

27 gr Benchmark 52 Barts in a 23" barrel is showing an average of 3430FPS with very low extreme spreads (10FPS). Is this comparable to your loads.

Any assistance from you or others is appreciated.

Sounds like you are getting good performance. If you are getting ES's of 10 fps, I would leave the load alone. 3430 is plenty of velocity. As far as seating depth is concerned, I have settled on .015 off of 'Jam' as my standard. Seat a bullet long in an empty but sized case. Chamber the round and work the bolt up and down about three or four times then extract the round. Set the seater die to this standard and using a dial caliper, lengthen the stem .015. This should put you just barely into the lands.
