Are .22 cal holes visible @ 200yards using Gene Davis's opticle booster on a Leupold 36X?

I shoot bumped 55X scopes and can generally see .22 bullet holes at 200 yds. However, they can be difficult to see if the shot lands on a line.

Yes. I shoot a 22 Dasher with a Sightron 36X, that also has one of Mr Davis'
optical devices. If the mirage isn't bad, I can see 22 holes @ 300 yards. 200 yards is not difficult at all.

If the range faces north (in the northern hemisphere anyway) so that the sun shines on the face of the target I've been able to see .22 holes at 200 and 300 yards with a straight 36X Leupold. If the range faces south if can be hard to see them at 200 yards. If they're right on a line it can be tough though no matter what.

The target rails at our range which faces South are horizontal 2X4. We mostly use the old plastic election signs as our backers. With white target paper when the sun is shining from the back it is hard to see the holes. We went to using a second plastic election sign on the back side of the 2X4 as a backer. Big difference. Can see holes much better.

If you have trouble with the sun on the back of the targets try a backer. It helps.

My practice score targets have a dot in the center of the 10 ring that is 1/16 back dock. With a 36X D model Leupold I can not see the small dot. With the 3X lens on the back of the Leupold I can see the small dot. The extra 3X lens does make a difference.

do you have vision problems

Hi John....do you have eye trubl or bad scope ...or did someone tell u that you culdnt see the holes...??? I shot a 22 for several yrs and culd always see the holes at 100-200...ooo yea there are some days and some times...but that is tru even with a 6mm,,,,,just stay away from the black areas of the target......you are talkin official benchrest targets???.if you are shooting at some non benchrest target with a big blak bullseye or at a cardboard box then you will have problems no matter what cal.......I used 24 to 36x over the yrs...so if there is no optical problem with you or the scope ...no problem ...start shootin and have fun...Roger

Didn't know they were actually available yet. I know they say "if you have to ask you can't afford it" but that's not always true. What is the price and availability?

Would like to see!!!!

Buy a MARCH 10x60 and see them at 600 yards

I would like to see that. When someone gets one of these new March scope please snap a pics through the eye-piece using your digital camera that demonstrates 22 cal holes @ 600 yds.

I have looked through some fairly nice spotters, I have never seen 22 holes at 600. The mirage has also been too great. Maybe it was just where I was shooting.
