It's the perfect all-round 22. There is nothing to compare with it for a balance of accuracy and velocity.
Nothing.
Just do it.
Make sure that your gunsmith is familiar with the round, DO NOT!!!!! let him just "run a .22BR reamer in deep".......... You must have a reamer ground specifically for it and it must be ground to spec's set by someone who UNDERSTANDS the round. I'd advise you to buy a Dowling grind with a no-turn neck to get your feet wet. Buy a set of Wilson style dies and shoot it NS only for a year or two..........You could then buy another $135.00 reamer some day spec'd EXACTLY how you'll want and you'll be out essentially nothing because you can use it to make your FL resizing dies. (I say essentially nothing because owning a custom FL sizer IS part of moving up to the next level...)
Don't even waste your time on any type of off-the-shelf die except Wilson IMO.
When shooting NS only you MUST remember to grease your bolt lugs every 5-10 rds. ALWAYS!
