Benchmark has worked well for me in quite a few 22BR's. A smidgen over 31.0 with a 50-52 gr. will be around 3,650.

Standard caveats and blah-blah apply, naturally.

The guy that started me shooting a real benchrest gun once had a 22 wall dog. The second most accurate gun Ive ever shot. A 30 br was the best.

34 grains of 748, 40 grain bullet, it screams.

AA 2520 is the fastest for light bullets. This is what I use at the egg shoots.

VERY CAREFUL APPROACH TO MAX. ( My loads are way above the loading manual max of about 31 g.)

Start at the suggested loading loading manuals. I have taken 50g bullets to 4200. 40g to 4500, and 35 Vmax to 4720.

What I use for the egg shoots though is 52g benchrest bullets at about 4050.

1:14 twist on Rem 40X actions.
